Chuckery Community
-  Chuckery is located at the intersection of State Route 161
and State Route 38 on the southern border of Union County,
Ohio.  The village sits on the eastern banks of the Little Darby
Creek.

-  First mention of Chuckery in local histories dates to 1822.

-  A US post office was established in the village in 1898.  This
post office was later closed in 1903.

-  The Chuckery community once supported two church
congregations.  One of the congregations was known as the
Lewis Chapel Methodist Church.  This church no longer exists.
The community is still home to St. Paul Lutheran Church and
School.

-  Chuckery was once home of the Chuckery Special Public
School District.  This school district was consolidated with the
Darby School in Unionville Center in 1937.  The
Chuckery-Darby School was later absorbed by Fairbanks
Local Schools.
