BIGELOW COVERED BRIDGE
The Bigelow or Axe-Handle Bridge is
located on the same road as the HIckory
Plains Farm.  This farm is not only an
Ohio Century Farm, it is also the home to
the Maize at Little Darby Creek.
Big Darby Plains Scenic Byway
Stretching from Dublin to North Lewsiburg, the Big
Darby Plains Scenic Byway follows the meandering
path of the Big Darby Creek.  The Big Darby Creek is a
State and National Scenic River.  The route of the
byway passes by several covered bridges, historic
cemeteries and churches, and Ohio Century Farms.  
The byway also passes through a few historic villages
located in Union, Madison, and Champaign counties.

The MAIZE at Little Darby Creek
and Berry Patch

This farm is owned by the fifth generation of the
Rausch family to live on this land.  It was once home
to a herd of registered cattle.  Now it is home to the
Corn Maize at Darby Creek and a raspberry patch.  The
2008 berry season begins on June 30!  Please follow
